When I took Ainsley in for her kindergarten check-up in April, we discovered that she needed glasses. She wasn't very happy abou the news, and she kept asking me why she needed glasses.
I told her, "Well, Mommy needed glasses, so you may have gotten it from me. And Grandma Davies had to wear glasses, too, so you could have gotten it from her." Ainsley digested this information. Then she said sadly, "I knew I spent the night over at Grandma's too many times!"
On the first official day of summer vacation, Liam, Ainsley and I went to the AF pool. As Ainsley and I were playing in the water, Liam ran into the supporting beam of the waterslide, cutting his head open. The paramedics came, and Liam ended up in the emergency room with 7 stitches.
Ainsley and I watched the doctor stitch Liam up. Ainsley was even interested enough to actually put on her glasses, which I've been trying to convince her to do for months. Ever since, though, when we go somewhere or do something that she wants to see, she will wear her glasses!

Ok. I followed your blog from Jen Hills blog. Man, I can't even believe your kids are that big. Holy moly. BTW-did you notice that your profile has you as a male? Is there something that you aren't telling me? lol
How is AF treating you? The only people that still live on our old street are Holly and Ken.
